We are HIQA registered which means that the nursing home is approved by all insurance companies (with the exception of VHI).
However, we do advise you to check with your insurance company for confirmation of their full and exact terms for cover.

Admissions to Oak View Nursing Home are arranged by appointment following a pre-admission assessment of your needs. This is to ensure that we have all of the necessary equipment, knowledge and competency to meet your care needs &/or those of your loved one.
Potential residents are invited to view our nursing home at this stage to ensure they are fully involved in the decision making process, wherever & whenever possible.

There is state financial assistance available via the Nursing Home Support Scheme - "Fair Deal".

By agreeing to take up residency in Oak View Nursing Home, residents &/or their family members must sign a contract of care.
This demonstrates a legally binding assurance of high quality care on our part and an acknowledgement of your commitment, on your part.
A plan of care will be devised within 24 – 48 hours of your admission. This will be carried out in consultation with the resident &/or family member.
The plan of care will reflect the individual's assessments needs
and interests; individual & specific to each resident and will provide direction to staff members caring for you.
A review of care plans will be prompted following feedback or
any changes in the personal, physical or psychological needs
of the resident and will be will be updated, as a matter of course ona quarterly basis (or as required).
Potential residents of registered private hursing homes in Ireland, such as Oak View, may be entitled to subvention from the Health Service Executive (HSE).
Certain criteria need to be met. You should check out their website for further details. The circumstances of your loved will be assessed on the basis of level of dependence and financial means testing.
The full costs of nursing home fees are unlikely to be met by subvention, but it is there as a means of financial support.
